Working as part of a collaborative in-house legal team, this role provides exposure to a wide range of commercial, regulatory and advisory matters. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play a key role in supporting operational and strategic outcomes.
This full-time role is for 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave. Flexibility or parttime hours (0.8 -0.9) considered.
What we’re looking for
- You will have a strong LLB degree with 3 – 5 years’ good quality general experience with in-house and/or law firm experience and will hold or be entitled to hold a current New Zealand legal practising certificate.
- Solid contract drafting and negotiation experience
- Experience with property law or the Retirement Villages Act 2003 helpful but not essential
- A pragmatic, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple matters
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill
